Sarah Shannon

Sarah Shannon is an Analyst at Europe Economics.  She achieved her undergraduate degree at Oxford University and holds a MSc Economics with Distinction from Birkbeck College, University of London.  She has experience in the application of economic regulation, public policy and competition across a broad range of sectors and for a variety of clients that include the European Commission, the European Parliament and regulators.  Recent regulatory work includes a benchmarking study for an overseas aviation regulator and a study for Ofwat on the uses of comparators by regulators.  Sarah has also recently worked on a study of utilities procurement for the European Commission (DG Internal Market).  Previous work includes a study for the European Commission (DG Enterprise) examining factors affecting the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises operating in the defence sector.
