Alexandros Achilleos is an analyst at Europe Economics. He joined the company in September 2019. Prior to that, he did an internship at Panteia, a research firm in the Netherlands. During his internship he worked extensively on an ILO project where he investigated the effect of SMEs on job creation. During his Policy Economics Master at Erasmus University Rotterdam, he focused on the empirical evaluation of policies. His dissertation analysed the effect that the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend had on educational decisions with the use of a synthetic control method. He has a keen interest on policy economic topics such as labour, education and taxation. Alexandros is fluent in English and Greek.
