06/06/2012 - Dermot Glynn comments on parallel trade in drugs

Dermot Glynn was quoted in the FT of 7 June commenting on parallel trade in drugs.  Dermot argued that parallel trade is “outrageous” and stops companies offering more differentiated prices across the EU. Halting it would allow pricing to be more aligned to local economic conditions, which would be fairer for countries with less ability to pay for medicines and more efficient in generating sales for producers.
